Today is a special day here at the dairy. We welcomed the birth of a new Brown Swiss heifer calf. This is very coincidental considering yesterday’s post on brown cows. We milk lots of Holstein cows but only 2 Brown Swiss, so this is rare. In fact, this is only the second Brown Swiss heifer born here in 117 years.
I am producing this post from my phone so it’s going to be short. Later I’m going to have a contest to name this beautiful little heifer.
